You will go to the top right and click on "Find" type in Work from Home and Go- then complete the information required- continue until you get to the page which asks - How would you like to file your employment expenses? You would choose- Detailed method. Scroll down to "Employment related expenses" look down and you will see Other expenses (rent, etc.)-Line 10 on T777S- This is where you will enter the rent paid.

Question about this. Do I enter the full amount that I paid for rent? Does turbo tax calculate the percentage based on what I entered into Calculation of Work-Space-in-the-Home Expenses? Or do I need to calculate that percentage. Same goes for internet and other things entered, who calculates the percentage for bussiness, turbotax or myself?
You would enter the full amount and TurboTax will calculate the percentage based on the square footage of the home or how many rooms you entered.
