While incarcerated and being paid for a "prison job", is this considered taxable income? If so, is Corrections Canada obligated to provide T4s?

I was not able to find any reference to the potential for tax liability of Prison Income from the Correctional Service Canada website. There seems to be a number of sources for which a prisoner can be credited as well as different deductions against this income. There is an email for further inquiry from this department at the website below.
