Do you need to enter the sale of a rental property that was once a principal residence twice?

I lived in a condo for 2 years, then rented it out for 4 years.  Going through the software I entered it twice, once under the disposition of a rental property and again under selling a principal residence.  Is this correct?

You need to dispose of  it only once on the rental statement.

When you moved out of your condo and started renting it, you had a deemed disposition of the property from personal to rental use at FMV at that time (property was sold and immediately acquired for rental purpose). If it was 4 years ago  there was no reporting requirement yet. You had to complete T2091 at that time and keep it for your records.

This year  you are reporting sale of your deemed acquisition from 4 years ago and property sold was not a principal residence.
