If you have a question about your return, or are having problems filing using TurboTax, our experts are here to help.




We are available year round, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm EST (available in both English and French support), to answer your questions and guide you through the filing process.




Select your preferred method of contact below to get started:

Note: Extended support hours are available from February 24th through April 30th, from 9am to 11:59pm (English support), and 9am to 9pm (French support) EST.

TurboTax Support

  1. Go to the Live Community homepage.
  2. Click on the Go to Forums link.
  3. Click on the box labeled Troubleshooting.
  4. Select the Ask a Question button.
  5. Type your question, select your product, then click Post.

TurboTax Online & CD/Download users (paid and free)

To talk to a TurboTax specialist, begin by filling out the Contact Us form and telling us what platform and version of TurboTax you’re using. 


Once you go through the steps and complete the form, the phone number to speak to a TurboTax agent will appear on the page.



You will also be able to see the approximate wait time to speak with an agent.



Note: If estimated time to talk to an expert exceeds 20 minutes, TurboTax will automatically call you back (in the order in which the requests are received), once the queue returns to a manageable amount.

TurboTax Live

If you are using TurboTax Live (in either the Assist & Review or Assist & Review-Self-employed ), there are a number of ways you can reach out for help.

  1. You can contact a TurboTax Live expert by logging into your TurboTax account, then clicking on the Expert Help button.
  2. You can schedule a review call within your return by going to the Review section within TurboTax.

If you have purchased the Pro Review service, you will be able to access it by clicking on the Support Icon, then clicking on Contact Us.

Audit Defence

When you signed up for Audit Defence, you were provided with a telephone number within your confirmation email. Simply dial the number provided to contact us.
