How do I sign up for the Premium Pack using TurboTax Online?

The Premium Pack is available for purchase in any of our TurboTax Online products for $60 as an in-product add-on. You pay for Premium Pack when you pay for your tax return, which is after you review your return and before you file.

  1. Priority Customer Care - If you need to speak to one of our care specialists, you won't have to sit and wait in line on the phone. Instead, you'll be provided with an alternative line to reach our team to assist you right away.
  2. Audit Defence - In the event that you are audited after submitting your taxes (because even accurate returns get audited sometimes), we have you covered. Our partner, Canada Tax Resources Inc., will act entirely on your behalf to defend your return to the CRA.
  3. Identity Theft Monitoring - IDnotify will continuously monitor your identity, alerting you of potential threats, and will send you monthly detection reports.
  4. Assisted Identity Restoration - If you find someone has used your information, IDnotify will help you get your identity back.

Once you've completed your return, but before filing:

  1. From 2024 tax return, select Review > Start.
  2. Continue until you reach: You'll have peace of mind knowing you're protected.
  3. Select Yes I want to be protected.
  4. At Great choice! confirm your purchase by entering your email address and phone number, and you're all set!
