I filed my return to the CRA through NETFILE. How do I file my provincial return?

You only need to file a provincial tax return in Québec if you lived in that province on December 31st. Otherwise, the federal return you file with the CRA covers both your federal and provincial taxes.

When you submit your return via NETFILE, TurboTax sends both your federal and provincial amounts to the CRA automatically. If you print your return, TurboTax prints your federal and provincial forms together so you can mail them to the CRA.

If you live in Québec, you need to file a separate provincial return to Revenu Québec.
