My network is WIFI based and we have numerous devices on the WIFI without any problems (except TurboTax 2020). He talked me through setting up my cell phone with an internet hotspot and we switched my PC to use that instead of the household WIFI. And this seems to fix the problem, but it is not the way I want to use the software. He said that since it was a network problem this was all he could do - and I understand that. BUT, this does seem to be a Intuit problem, as it is only the License Code activation that seems to fail. <P>I bought a valid copy of TurboTax 2020 Standard edition from Staples. I installed the application via the enclosed CD. When prompted I entered the License Code that was provided with the CD. It seemed to be accepted, but every time I launch TurboTax it again prompts me to enter the License Code. Sometime I can get into the full program and other times it does nothing. I have rebooted the PC (Windows 10 - 20H2 19042.844). I have uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled. But still nothing changes this behavior. So I contacted Intuit for support and was given a phone number to call. The support tech was knowledgeable and helpful. He had me allow him to view my screen so he could help. We tried various things and he could clearly see the problem. He thought it might be a network issue. My network is WIFI based and we have numerous devices on the WIFI without any problems (except TurboTax 2020). He talked me through setting up my cell phone with an internet hotspot and we switched my PC to use that instead of the household WIFI. And this seems to fix the problem, but it is not the way I want to use the software. He said that since it was a network problem this was all he could do - and I understand that. BUT, this does seem to be a Intuit problem, as it is only the License Code activation that seems to fail. I still cannot run the software reliably over my household WIFI.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this kind of issue, or is it only me.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Any thoughts?</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Peter</P>

Make the necessary corrections and retransmit your return. Since you completed Part 3 of form TP-59.S-V, Expenses Related to Working Remotely Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, you must complete form TP-64.3-V, General Employment Conditions. (T3H0207I) For more information, contact the NetFile Québec assistance (T3Z00004) I</EM></DIV></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I did complete this part, and filled out the General Employment Conditions form with the info from the slip I got from my employer. I put in the QST number and contact info and everything, and said no to claiming GST/HST. I am at a loss as to why it's not working. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!</P>

I have an International Experience Canada Visa valid from November 2019 to November 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;I started working in Sun Peaks, B.C in January 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;In March 2021 I had to return to the UK because of the Covid 19 situation with flights from Canada to the UK being withdrawn.&nbsp;&nbsp;In August 2020 I returned to Canada and have been working since then.&nbsp;&nbsp;In 2020 I spent more than 183 days in Canada and so I believe that I have Deemed Resident status for tax purposes but am not 100% certain of that.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can't find a way to reflect this on turbotax as it only seems to allow for one entry date and one exit date to be submitted which, if I entered those dates, would infer that I left Canada in March before I entered in August!

I have a feeling that the issue might stem from line 40 (Enter your employment income) being blank. I definitely have employment income, so I'm not sure why line 40 is blank.
