Unfortunately, you can't use TurboTax to complete your 2018 tax return; you will need to go to the CRA website and click on the T1 you will need and print and complete it by hand.

Yes, you can use your software if you have returns left over from them. The 2018 return, however, you may need to complete hers by hand using the 2018 tax software from the CRA.

Did you complete a joint return with your spouse? If yes, you will go into the return for both of you. Is it possible that you didn't save a copy of your return?

My main employment 2024 T1 is missing in my files listed- my husbands is there and so is my union rep pay. I definitely filed there with turbo tax. Where else can I look?

Unfortunately, until we know why the difference is and where the issue is from, which it will tell you on your notice of assessment, then we can ask you to send in your return so that we can verify if, in fact, it says "calculation error."

Honestly, I’m fed up. I filed in March to get taxes over with, now you force me to address the problems in a public forum, then jump through more hoops via another link.
I will just chalk this up to lesson learned and find an alternative for filing next year.

Please compare what was entered on your income tax return to what the revised NOA says to see where the error was. It completely ignored the Quebec health services fund and I am waiting for the revised NOA from the federal government.

It has been my experience as a QBO user that intuit is unreliable when it comes to Quebec tax rules.

But I paid for a ‘guarantee’ and instead got a nasty surprise.

You need to log into your TurboTax account, and then once in, you should see the tax returns completed. Click on the one that you want to see. If it hasn't been filed as of yet, you may not have saved it, and you may need to start the return again.
