Moving ttax file from Mac to PC

Started this 2025 ttax on a Mac and would like to finish on my PC.
Can I just copy the ttax data file from the Mac and open it in my PC ?

yes the .tax2025 file should be interchangeable between platforms - just try it out.

Yes, you can copy the *.tax2025 data file and move it to the PC, but you may need to take an extra step once there before you can open it. If it has a state return in it, then you will need to install the state software into the PC program before opening the data file, or it will give an error prompt.
