Planning to get TurboTax Premier (Windows) which allows up to 12 returns.

Hi,

I am planning to buy the TurboTax Premier (Windows) which covers what I need since me and my spouse are employed, we have a rental and have a dependent.

My question:

- Is TurboTax Premier which covers 12 returns are for the same person?

- Can I use it to file for my spouse/partner or even another family member

- Are the 12 returns valid for 1 year only?

Yes, you can use the 12 returns for your spouse and others and yes the software is only meant for this year. Each year has a different return due to the yearly changes on credits, deduction amounts and tax index, etc.

I got this desktop version (premier) with 12 returns this year, and I used this version last year as well.

I share the license with my sister and brother.

Last year, we installed and activated it with different user accounts. I just realized that each activation code is unique and can only be used for one account this year. Is there a version that we can activate with several user accounts?

When you purchase TurboTax Desktop, the license code is attached to the main account holder's account. Yes, you can still download it to up to 3 computers -the only thing is that it will need to be downloaded by signing into the main account holder's information. You will not be able to see anyone else's taxes as they are saved on the computer they were completed on (make sure you save your tax returns).
