Importing previous year data

For the past several years, we have been using the desktop "Standard" version for all the family returns. No longer need to file that many returns and want to get the "Basic" version. Before I purchase it I would like to know if there are any differences that would prevent importing data created with "Standard" version into "Basic" Version.

You should be able to import your previous year data from Standard TurboTax into a Basic edition with no issue. As long as you have on your computer the .tt23 files, you'll be good! From Basic to Standard, it's the EasyStep experience that is different.
