    <description>&lt;P&gt;Same problem for me. Bought premier from Walmart. Followed instructions on the paper in the box. Turbotax.ca/download. Activation error 606.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried the online activation as well - another error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I didn't "buy the wrong product". The code out of the box doesn't work following the instructions it came with.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased the Premier edition for 2024 at Costco.&amp;nbsp; The little box holds only a useless little piece of paper with a code that will not work.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;"Error code 606" Could you please fix this issue as I read online that this is a common problem this year?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will return this useless box to Costco tomorrow.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since tax year 2020, there is a difference between a License Code (for Desktop) and an Activation Code (for Online). This error code 606 means you are trying to enter a Code for TurboTax Online in a Desktop software (or vice-versa).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We understand, sometimes, this can be confusing but, on the box (or on the retailer website), you have to choose between TurboTax &lt;STRONG&gt;Online&lt;/STRONG&gt; and TurboTax &lt;STRONG&gt;Desktop&lt;/STRONG&gt;. They are not the same software and codes from one cannot be used in the other one.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you bought the wrong version, you can get a refund and then buy the one you need, by &lt;A href="https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/help-article/taxation/get-refund-turbotax-product/L0GFPCPaC_CA_en_CA" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;using this form&lt;/A&gt; to get a refund.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure to add a clear photo of your receipt, showing the name of the store, the date, the product bought and the price paid.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for choosing TurboTax.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you but the top of the box I have says download only.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I have followed the instructions on the little sheet inside the box, which takes me to the page turbotax.ca/download and choose Premier .&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I have downloaded the Premier option (twice) and I get&amp;nbsp; to enter the code, which gets me Error 606.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(This should be easier)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any other hints?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
