    <description>&lt;P&gt;We tried with the update yesterday, and we were able to save a PDF copy of our return. Are you saying that this message comes up only after you exit the return?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Turbo Tax Says to Update but there are no updates - won't let me complete return</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Turbo Tax (Canada Version - I have both US and Canada installed).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;When I go to print a copy, or save a copy I get a warning pop up message saying that the product was not complete when the product was manufactured.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It tells me I need to update.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;So I go to help and click on check for updates and it pops up telling me that there are no updates.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I try again to print/save and get the same message.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; I have always let it update every time I start the program, but still it doesn't work.&amp;nbsp; what do I do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you are using TurboTax Desktop and don’t need any of the &lt;A href="https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/help-article/tax-return/turbotax-say-forms-locked-finalized/L9h4thZZJ_CA_en_CA?uid=m7ccfcrt" target="_blank"&gt;locked forms&lt;/A&gt;, please try clearing the unneeded forms and then closing unused forms. You can find those options under Edit&amp;gt;Forms in the top menu.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am still getting the message when I try to save a PDF of the return, print the return and when I exit and it goes to save the return.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It says "At the time of Manufacturing this product the government had not finalized all of its forms.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You will require a final version of your form(s) to submit your return(s).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You can obtain the final version as they become available by selecting Check for Updates from the Help menu, any time after the beginning of Jan, 2025."&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; The program had updated when I started it today.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Now I click on check for updates and it says "no update is available.&amp;nbsp; Turbotax is up to date.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;So I try to save to PDF again and get the same message.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;THIS PROGRAM DEFINITELY HAS A BUG.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I have tried reinstalling and rebooting, but still it DOES NOT WORK!!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
