Canada box 44 union dues

Input correct information in the T4 section of my union dues. When looking at the final version, turbo tax doubled the amount.

Similar situation with CPP contributions, it did not transpose the amount I input from my T4 and box 16.

Why is this happening and how do I correct it?

If you have a T4 with an amount on box 44, you do not have to claim this union contribution in Professional fees (under Deductions).

Is it a NETFILE return? And which software version you used; Online or Desktop?

For your CPP contribution, can you tell us if you have other T-slips? and are you seeing the doubled amount on the T1?
