The Year Over Year Comparison can be found in TurboTax Online by going to the bottom of the left hand side menu and selecting Review then Year Over Year Comparison. The Year Over Year Comparison only shows the current tax year and the previous tax year.

Also be aware that the Year Over Year Comparison is only available if you transferred you previous year return into your current year return.

Thank you for your answer, it was very helpful. Now that I have the past 2 years comparison done, I am trying to get all the way back to 2019 to incorporate. I accidently clicked on the open file and quickly stopped as I was beginning a new file for 2019, which is not what I needed.

I purchased turbo tax deluxe for the 4th consecutive year. Unlike past years when there is no menu on the left side containing year to year comparisons. How do I get this s information? Why isn’t there a detailed menu in n the left side of the page as in this past years?

@Leafswin The layout for the TurboTax Online version has been changed this year. We have the 'Tax Home" option now instead of the left-hand side panel. You can search anything from there by topics, slips, etc. We do appreciate your feedback and will pass this on to our development team.

The new Turbo Tax design is horrible.

I can't find the Year over year comparison and believe I have to pay money before I can do it. This is ridiculous.

Add to this frustration that many T slips are not available for download from CRA as I type. I might as well go find a pencil and paper.

@IanGunn If you transferred your 2023 information into TurboTax Online 2024, then you'll see a year over year comparison during the Review.
