Good day! In order to access your access code to netfile your 2024 returns, you cannot locate your NAC on the paper copy of your NOA or online in your “My Account”, you can call the CRA, and answer a few authentication questions before they provide you with the information requested.

After filing your income tax return each year, you will receive a Notice of Assessment (NOA). On the top right-hand corner of your Notice of Assessment, you will see an 8-character, alphanumeric code under the “Notice Details” section. This is your NETFILE Access Code.

The Netfile access code will be available on your notice of assessment (NOA)

To receive the NOA it could take up to two weeks after you filed your return, if you file electronically. If you paper-filed your return, it would take about about eight weeks.

I am trying to submit my 2023 and 2024 taxes this is a first ive heard of this. However non of my NOF have a code anywhere in my cra account.

@CatBossMom The NETFILE Access Code (NAC) is optional and not required to file your return.
