List of changes when an update is released and installed?

I noticed an update was installed in my Turbotax T1 software when I logged in. Are there release notes which list what specific updates are included in the release so we know what has been changed/updated? Thank you.

There was new update released today. However last update covered or fixed all that is shown below in the screenshot. If you haven't update your software at that time , it might be updated today.

This screenshot was taken when the software showed that a new update was available. At that time it will give you the details of what will be fixed with this new update. If you have updated it already, you won't be able to see this information.

You can check if your software is updated to the latest version by going to Help> About TurboTax from the top left panel and making sure the version and the build are the same as shown below.

Thanks for this. I didn't click on the 'Details' tab...will do next time.

Will specific details be described re each 'Bug fixes' in the Details tab or if not, where would I find this?

Yes, it will be displayed with each new update when you click on the "Detail" tab. Thanks.

Hi, there was a new update today when I opened the program. I clicked on 'Details' and it shows the following:

Update Contents:

Latest updates and improvement.
Bug Fixes.

However, it shows no specific details of what those updates, improvements and bug fixes are. Where do I see these please?

We, like you, can only see the updated content and not the details. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to add specifics because they would have to be added before the updates were sent out. This is beyond our control; however, we will forward your feedback to the appropriate team.

Hi, if we had previously filed a return or are still working on a particular return, how would we know what specific changes were made to the program or bugs previously existed which are now fixed? Like other software products, there must be an available list of what program changes/updates were made so the user knows what has been fixed or updated. What would be the website link where we find this info? Can you please check with your tech support. Thank you.

As we discussed, our system view is limited to the updated content rather than the specific backend details. You can view all available information from the latest update in the screenshot I previously shared. While we don't have a direct link for a summary of every minor update, we do maintain a dedicated page for major form status.

This link is updated throughout the tax season and provides the current status of any locked or pending forms. Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?

I have also shared your feedback regarding the update summaries with our development team. We truly appreciate your input.
