I applied for disability tax credit last December and was approved in February. Do I claim it on my return? I didn't receive a T4A for 2025.

I have an approved T2201 on file with the CRA and my tax returns were reassessed for the last few years. Also, do I answer yes to the question asking if it's my first year claim as I was reassessed for years before 2025 but never claimed before?

If your T2201 was approved for 2025 then you can claim the credit. But if it's for 2026 onwards, then you'll have to wait until your 2026 tax return.

You can put "NO" since it's not really your first claim.
