Are you using the Online or Desktop version?

Does the spouse you want to move it to actually have Provincial Tax payable?" (If not, the credit won't do anything for them).

Did you enter the receipts under Spouse A's profile or Spouse B's?" (Sometimes TurboTax 'locks' the claim to whoever the receipts were first entered under).

Who has the higher provincial tax payable?

It matters: If the spouse they want to move the credit to already has their provincial tax reduced to $0 (due to the Basic Personal Amount or other credits), TurboTax will physically block the transfer. A non-refundable credit can't create a "negative" tax or a refund; it can only bring the tax down to zero.

Why cannot I change the Saskatchewan Home Renovation Tax Credit to be claimed by the other spouse? Only way it will let me is to override all the fields.
