where do I find my detailed last year's information as entered on turbotax, for example entered square footage for home office and costs for hydro/internet?

You just need to log back into the same account you used when you created those returns.

If you want to just download the PDF Archives of returns that have been filed using NETFILE, you can look at the bottom of the “Great to see you again!” when you log in to TurboTax.

If you want to see the actual return files, you can login to TurboTax Canada Online 2024 here: https://ww1.2024.ca.turbotaxonline.intuit.com/

Hi Susan,

thanks very much for the response.

Both of those options dont really show me what details I have put in last year for the home office. I just want it to be the exact same as last year so I would like to access the actual sqaure footage of my designated work area that I put in last year. Thanks in advance

If you login directly to TurboTax Canada Online 2024, you can go through the section where you entered the home office expenses (Self-Employment, Employment Expenses, etc...) and it will have every detail that you entered.

You can use the search bar on top of the page that shows up when you open your return to look for the section you need.

Navigating to the expenses section and selecting it opens a page stating this:

Employment Expenses

You may be able to claim certain expenses you paid to earn employment income if you meet both conditions below:

i)	Your employment contract requires you to incur these expenses as part of your employment; and
ii)	you did not receive a non-taxable allowance for expenses paid (an allowance not reported on your T4 slip).

Select the checkbox if you are eligible to claim employment expenses.

When I click continure, it shows this:

Christoph: Employment Expenses Profile

I received form T2200 - Declaration of Conditions of Employment from my employer and/or I want to claim the Labour Mobility Deduction

I did not receive form T2200 from my employer

Clicking Continue again brings me back to the overview saying

Your return is filed!

and I am back to where I started..

Any other ideas?

@hennig3d When you opened the return, did you click on Review or ReFILE? Try using the ReFILE button if that's not the one you used. It won't send anything to the CRA unless you actually go through the Filing process again.

You will need to open up your return for the specific tax year; go to the top of your return to "Find" and type in child care expenses. You will be able to go through there and verify what was entered.
