her tuition is about $9000 but the education/tuition amounts are over $35000

Do you mean that you entered a T2202 slip of $9000, but in the software you see the amount at $35,000? In order to guide you better, can you please let us know if you are using TurboTax online or desktop and which slips you entered? Is your daughter filing on her own or as your dependent?
