      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:14px;"&gt;Since your daughter doesn’t need the credit to reduce her own tax (as she owes $0), the "unused" portion of the credit can be transferred to a supporting parent. Yes, you absolutely can claim it as a parent. Since she has no income and you are the one supporting her, this is the standard way the CRA expects you to file.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
