The software does not indicate which if any form is locked, as well I cannot even print my Quebec Taxes to send the paper copy....very frustrating.

My quebec netfile doesn't allow me to file online but gives me option to send by mail.. however i did get a notice that said some forms were not finalized yet and i assume that maybe this could be the problem.. the only difference this year is i split my income with my wife and got a warning concerning withheld tax not reported from releve 2. I dont have any tax deductions/withheld on my paper slips. the forms in turbo tax show the J box empty and i cant enter the value (0.00). i'm assuming this might be a problem. It will add a value (0.01) a penny but since my federal file went thru if i use the penny trick it might create a problem. Now i dont know if its a turbo tax problem or a SCHEDULE Q problem. Tried going to the Schedule Q and using override but still not able to send as this 0 slash symbol appears over the file online option. Hope you can point me in the right direction.

All forms are unlocked except for the Quebec form TP-726.7.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please update your software.

If you are using TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online), please clear your browser cache (or use a different browser) and try again.

Please note that Quebec NETFILE is down for maintenance until 11pm tonight (Sunday March 8th).

Thanks for the info Susan.. i see they scheduled maintenance on the revenuequebec.ca. Been trying to check for errors but i'm locked out and not able to submit my quebec return however my federal return got sent ok.

Hoping this was just a maintenance thing in quebec yesterday as well. If not is it possible that TP-726.7 would stop other forms from going thru as i dont use this form? I keep getting the message that you will require a final version of your forms prior to submitting your returns. Seems odd, i'm hoping when all forms are finalized things will go thru smoothly.

@tersen If you aren't using the TP-726.7, then that shouldn't stop you from filing. That having been said, try going into Forms mode and look to see if any forms that you don't need are open. If you do see one that you don't need, choose Edit > Forms > Clear Current Form, then Edit > Forms > Close Unused Forms to get rid of it.

Well i did a little more digging and that form TP-726.7 (capital gains deduction) i believe is creating the block as i opened it and saw a watermark that said DRAFT. It contained values from 5 years ago when i gifted my house to my son. Anyhow i'm assuming this explains why i cannot send my provincial tax return as this ghosted form will follow me forever and i will have to wait for it to be finalized.

I have this exact same issue. I think its form "TP726.7 Capital Gains Deduction on Qualified Property" thats creating the issue; however, I sold my house in 2024... dont know why this is causing an issue... can anyone confirm this is the problem?

I have the same issue and not using the forms that are locked. The teck support was no help at all. She did not know the difference between the online and downloaded versions. At this point I am at a complete loss. Cannot find any info on when the forms will be updated. After crashing the system twice printing the CRA Netflix confirmation number I am losing confidence in TURBOTAX software.

I tried this with the person I spoke with on the phone and it didnt work. I was able to file my CRA return but not quebec's both on my side and my wife's.

I have cleared the form Quebec form TP-726.7, Edit > Forms > Clear Current Form, then Edit > Forms > Close Unused Forms to get rid of it.

This does not remove the form from "show Open Forms Only" "Quebec forms" and I still have the problem and Cannot NETFILE the Quebec Income Tax.

I have tried many other items but noting has worked
