Issues adding expense detailswhen I select edit

Since the latest update to Turbotax, im now experiencing an issue adding the details of my business expenses while trying to prepare my tax return. The directions call for me to hit start on each expense I’ve listed. There is no start button, only a symbol for editing, and a symbol for deleting. when I select the edit symbol it simply refreshes the page and does nothing else. Can someone please help?

Can you please specify which type of TurboTax you are using? is it TurboTax Online or Desktop?

You should be able to enter your business expenses. When you are creating your tax profile, you have to select Self-Employment expenses and then, from the Tax Home, make sure to follow all steps, one by one, when you create your business profile. The type of business is also really important. You have to make sure you are selecting the proper type, or the information you can enter will differ.

At this time, some CRA forms are still being reviewed by them for the 2024 tax season, which could explain why some calculations are not done correctly or do not appear. As soon as they are ready, TurboTax will be updated.

I am able to select my expenses but I am not able to enter the details such as the amounts. Have used TurboTax for years and have never had an issue like this. Well anyway I’ll keep checking to see if this issue is resolved.
