Hi there,

I hope everything is well.

I have purchased 2 tax returns. For me and my wife.

In her case, she doesn't have a SIN yet. I had to put all zero's.

My tax return filed with no problem, but hers was not able to file due to the Zero's for her SIN.

I was under the impression I should file hers as well, even though there's no information on it. She didn't receive income or anything.

Is it possible to get reimbursed for her tax return as there's no information on it and it was not allowed to be filed?

How long has your wife been in Canada? Please reach out to the Canada Revenue Agency at 1 (800) 959-8281, as they will be able to direct you on what to do about your wife's income tax return.

Thanks for your reply.

I have been in contact with CRA and they will provide me with a SIN for me to use for my wife.

As I was not able to file her tax return with TurboTax and as she had no income or no information on her 2024 Tax return. I would like to know if it's possible to get reimbursed for the amount paid for her tax return.
