Unable to Increase or Decrease Text Size

Unable to change the size of the on-screen text.

Two calls to TT and no help.

Re-installed app (TT Premier Download), running Windows 10 ver. 22H2

The View/Zoom/Zoom In Shift F2 menu bar selection at the very top of screen only increases the height if the blue menu bar at the top of the page. The View/Zoom/Zoom Out Shift F3 makes the blue menu bar decrease the height of the blue bar.

The AA Text Size selection on the blue menu bar brings up a pop-up window with + and - . Same results - the blue menu bar height is expanded or contracted, but the text size stays the same size.

One agent suggested using ctrl + and ctrl - while spinning the mouse scroll button - no impact.

The Adjust Contrast button (all alone in the black menu bar, right side top of page) pops up a screen with ctrl + and ctrl - to adjust zoom - no impact, plus the High Contrast setting button is non-operational.

Agent #2 suggested using the magnifying glass app to make the screen text readable - laughable, especially since the What's New page in the Introduction touts "Easier to Read - Increase or decrease the text display size to improve readability".

Can you please specify if you are using TurboTax Online or Desktop?

If you are using TurboTax Online, you can increase the text size in your browser (see screenshot).

For TurboTax Desktop, from the Welcome page or in the return, like the product support did with you, you can click on on View // zoom // zoom in or from form mode, you click on the text box in the blue bar (see screenshot). Sometimes, it can take effect only if you close the software and re-open, depending on the option you used.

If the issue persist, product support team can screenshare and send it to investigation, if needed.

thanks for your timely reply.

As noted in the bottom of my original post, the version in question is "TurboTax CD or Download Premier".

There was an updated version available today, loaded it and still the same issue.

Using either the View // Zoom // Zoom In SHIFT F2 or Test Size popup window "+" button expands the top blue bar and doesn't change the font size. Similar results with V/Z/Zout F3 and Text Size "-"decreases the blue bar height. Cntrl +/- has no effect, neither does cntrl & mouse wheel.

Making a change, app shutdown then reloading has no effect on text size and the blue menu bar stays with the larger or smaller height based on it's size when the app was closed.

Pls advise for support team contact.

You can also try changing the scale and/or screen resolution in the Windows settings.

Still no ability to change text size - contrary to the "Easier to Read" description on the "What's New"page.

Yes, I can go into Windows Settings // System // Display // Scale and Layout, but that mucks up everything else on the computer.

I tied calling your 7 x 24 support line but you are not staffed on weekends (the AI bot has very limited capability).

Still need help and this is getting aggravating.☹️

Unfortunately, the text is the blue bar menu has a fixed scale, which means it's unchangeable.

I was not trying to change the font size in the blue bar - it was in the main portion of the screen that I was trying to make larger.

The request is still open. I've contacted the team that does the callbacks to find out why you haven't been called yet, but I haven't received a response yet. I will keep trying to see what the hold up is.

Has this been resolved? I spent hours on the phone yesterday 3/28/2026 and used every solution that the specialist recommended to access my home and business turbo tax 2025.
I run an hp omen laptop windows 11. The program is on my computer.

Sometimes, it can take effect only if you close the software and reopen it, depending on the option you used.
