In TurboTax Online 2024, the T1198 is not finalized yet. We're working hard to finalize this form to align ourselves with CRA requirements, and we hope to have it ready soon.

When is this expected to be completed. I am surprised a program so widely used was caught so off guard and unprepared. This makes me question if this is the best tax software for our needs

We do not have a specific date for any specific forms at this time; however, the teams are working hard to get updates completed as soon as possible. Please follow our TurboTax FAQ; once the update is completed for the T1198, you will see that it will be removed from the list.
