My co-parent is using the eligible dependant non-refundable tax credit this year. It is being automatically applied to my return. How do I remove it from my return?

We have 50/50 parenting time and I claimed it last year. Only one of us can apply it per year

If you are using TurboTax Online:

Go to the Tax Home page, click on Deductions, and then click on Claims For Dependants.
Answer YES & click Continue.
Click on Enter Credit info next to the dependant whose info you want to change.
Leave “Amount for an eligible dependant” checked off.
Continue through the pages until you get to the Amount for an eligible dependant page.
Change your answer to No, and then click Continue to save.
If you’d like, you can then you can go back to Step 3 & uncheck “Amount for an eligible dependant”.
