Is this a bug or have I done something wrong?

Somehow my spouse's 2023 Donations Carry Forward amound is being inserted into Line 15 (34210) of Schedule 9, which relates to Ecological Gifts from 2014-2016, and is thereby being deducted from my eligible 2024 donations total.

I have found no way to address the issue. All of these donations were made in 2023 but were not claimed.

The amounts are being carried forward automatically from my 2023 data but are being mishandled once inside 2024.

You can change the carried forwards amounts on the Carry Fwd worksheet - check the bottom of the 1st page.

The Carry Fwd worksheet is already correct. The problem I have is that the amount is being inserted into the wrong field on Schedule 9 and ends up being a reduction of my eligible donations.

I've been in touch with Intuit Support; they tell me this is a known bug that will be addressed in an update that will be released by the end of March.

I will wait patiently...
