Schedule 3 is still locked by CRA and not finalized by CRA yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax for an accurate calculations.

As of today (March 18) my 2024 TurboTax program still does not allow me to file my tax return. It says:

"For returns that include capital gains: These forms are still being finalized by the CRA. You won’t be able to print or NETFILE your return until they are ready. We expect they’ll be ready by late March."

When I switched to using WealthSimple, I received a similar message until 3 days ago (March 15), when they told me that capital gains filing is now available. Why is TurboTax taking so long to update its program?

I've been using TurboTax (and its predecessor) for over 20 years, but this latest annoyance is the last straw. Time to move on.

Is it possible that I would missed the filling deadline given there is no ETA of the certification on the capital gain/loss forms?

@exocet11 Thanks for the feedback. Schedule 3 will be updated, and all the locked forms will be unlocked and ready by the 20th of March, 2025. We appreciate your patience.
