      <description>&lt;P&gt;First, please make sure that you have purchased the right product. The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop &amp;amp; vice-versa.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Second, if you bought TurboTax at a retailer (Costco, Walmart, Staples, etc…), please make sure that you are using the code that came in the package. It may be on a slip of paper or on a scratch-off card. It is not on the outside of the box or on your receipt.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have bought &lt;STRONG&gt;TurboTax Online&lt;/STRONG&gt;, please go to&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://shop.app.intuit.ca/activate?rootProfile=ca&amp;amp;locale=en-ca" target="_blank"&gt;turbotax.ca/activate&lt;/A&gt; to use your code before you start your returns.       <description>&lt;P&gt;First, thank you for your helpful reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Second, yes, I bought the right product and Used the 16 digit code supplied on the printed sheet in the box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Third, all of my attempts to ente the access code were futile.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have used TurboTax for my personal taxes for several years and have never experienced the difficulty in using this years version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am convinced that the access code is faulty and I will eventually return it to the retailer, Staples.|&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Respectfully,Cecaudi&lt;/P&gt;</description>
