Removing canada caregiver amount for turbotax online canada

Help, I'm using turbotax deluxe online in BC, Canada and there is an amount claimed under the "Canada caregiver amount for spouse/partner or eligible dependant age 18 or older"

I have not selected that my wife is a dependent and have no other dependance over the age of 18... just 2 kids. I have gone through all the sections again and there is no option to remove this. It is listed under line 30425. I am just hoping to remove this amount.

If you are preparing your return with your spouse, select your spouse's return, then go the Tax Home page (2024 tax return on the left). Click on Tax Profile, then Your Tax Profile. Continue through the pages until you are asked if your spouse has a mental or physical disability, and make sure nothing is checked there.

I have the same questions for 2025 turbotax online version, I tried to uncheck the question "I have mental or physical disability" under my mom, but still see Canada caregiver amount on line 30425 under my dad's return. My mom has the disability but I am her caregiver and want to use this amount, however since my mom and dad are filing the return together as a couple, it seems this caregiver amount is always bounded together as a couple.

Can you please confirm?
