30400 Amount $0 for Amount for Elligible Dependent

I have seen many others asking about this problem with the program. The answer is you must not have been separated from the parent long enough. I never been with the father so separation complications are not possible. I should have always been eligible, I have checked the credit box and it shows up but it says 0. Income amounts are fine. The amount should be $500. How do we fix this?

What did you enter for your marital status? How old is the child and did they have any income? Did the child live with you? Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?
