BUG ON JAN 2026 UPDATE: FHSA carryforwards for deductions are missing

The latest update (around Jan 22, 2026) broke the claimed deduction of the FHSA from prior to the update. I had used the prior year 8k with the current year 8k to deduct 16k. When I upgraded, it no longer showed that and showed only 8k deduction.

Furthermore, the 'Review checker' says I cannot contribute 16k in 2025 but only 8k. This is a BUG. You absolutely can contribute 16k in 2025 if you did not contribute anything in 2024. My T4FHSA shows I contributed 16k but your 'error review' after clicking 'Netfile' gives an error saying I cannot contribute more than 8K and to fix it.

On Schedule 15, did you enter Your FHSA carryforward for 2025 (from your 2025 FHSA participation room statement) on line 15?

Yes, this issue is now resolved, but the point is that the in-place update that you sent recently caused this line item to disappear until I manually entered it again.
