CPP Death Benefit Received - Netfile

I am claiming the CPP Death Benefit of $2500.00 that I received when my mom passed away. Turbotax says that I am now ineligible for Netfile as it was a lump-sum benefit. I guess that there is no way around this? It seems odd that there isn't a workaround of some sort. Any information that anyone can give is appreciated. Thanks, in advance.

Please check your T4A(P) Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits and make sure the question “Do your CPP/QPP benefits, reported in box 20 of your T4A(P) slip, relate to a lump-sum benefit?” is answered “NO”.

I will do so. Thank you. I was going off of the PDF copy on the CRA site and it didn't show that box. I will keep my eyes open for it and keep checking. Thanks again!

In looking at the slip template on the CRA site there is no lump-sum Y/N box. I will have to do some more research on this. As well, I saw that my question was previously answered but it says I don’t have the credentials to view it. I am not sure why that is.

We have received your questions on our end. To resolve the issue, I recommend clearing your browser's cookies and cache or trying a different browser after logging out completely. This often helps with such problems.

Regarding your question, you need to provide an answer to that specific question when filling out the TA(P) form. For your reference, I have attached a screenshot below. Hope that helps!

None of those suggestions work. Who knows what is happening. I've never had this problem until recently.
