Turbo Tax won't let me re-file

Hello.

I need to refile my 2023 & 24 returns due to a mistake I made on Schedule T7777 in 2023 and repeated it in 2024.

I have Turbo tax software (both 2023 & 2024 versions). Each time I try to refile the software indicates I can't refile electronically but I did not use net-file. I've used net-file for submitting my taxes for 15 years so I don't understand the issue.

Please help with the above.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) NETFILE and REFILE services for the 2025 tax year will re-open on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. (Eastern Time). If you need to make changes before February 23, 2026, you will have to wait until the service re-opens or submit a paper T1-ADJ form.

You can make changes to a filed tax return by filing an adjustment. The CRA requires that you wait until you’ve received your Notice of Assessment (NOA) before filing an adjustment.

Unfortunately the answer I received was not related to my question.

I have to refile 2 returns (2023 & 2024) but my Turbo Tax software will not permit me to "re-file" because as per the error message " I did not use Net-file to file my returns. This is absolutely wrong because I am file my taxes for approx. 15 years using "net-file".

How can this software error be fixed? I do not want to refile using paper copies.

We recommend that you wait until the Netfile and Refile services open by CRA on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. (Eastern time). If you need to make changes before February 23, 2026, you must wait until the service is reopened or submit a paper T1-ADJ form. Currently, there is no other way to electronically transmit your return to CRA.

You are receiving this error because Netfile and re-filing are currently closed for all the tax years.
