on the personal info page, I enter my sin and the my spouse's number and it says we can not have the same SIN number, but they are not the same.

This error usually happens due to a typing or spacing error, even though the SINs are different.

You may follow the steps below to fix the error:

1. Verify your spouse's SIN again for any additional spaces or digits that are inverted.

2. Go back to Personal Info, remove your spouse, save, then re-add them and re-enter the SIN.

3. Make sure your SIN is entered under your profile and your spouse’s SIN is entered under their profile (not both in the same field)
