&lt;P&gt;Reset your modem. It can sometimes be beneficial. Try connecting your computer temporarily to your phone's mobile hotspot.&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;Windows frequently prevents tax software from "talking" to the internet unless it has full permissions.&lt;/LI&gt;
