spent over 70 minutes on phone with help desk concerning form TP-1079.8.be. Information should carryforward from T1135 but it does not. I use forms not easy step. Help desk still made me go through easystep which did not help.

There is obviously a problem with this new form. I do not want to use overide function in order to be able to use direct transmission. I have seen other people had issues with this topic but answers did not help.

very disappointed with person trying to help as he was obviously mixing many tax forms, and I had to reexplain multiple times

Two checkboxes on form T1135 indicate whether foreign property is being reported for more than $250K or between $100K and $250K. For Form T1135, simply selecting the latter and completing Part A is sufficient. Nevertheless, results from TP-1079.8.BE-V will not be copied to Quebec. To "tick the appropriate box for the method of filing" option, which is displayed in a small font just above the beginning of the Part A section of the T1135, must also be selected to guarantee copying. Data is transferred to the Quebec form when this is done (i.e., by checking "Part A—simplified reporting method").

did not solve my problem as I needed to fill part B as the investments are above those allowed to use section A.

On two separate occasions I called support and spent over a total of 2.5 hours trying to find a solution. Was not successfull and finally decided to fill in the form on MRQ site, print it and mail it.
