&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:transparent;color:#000000;font-size:14px;"&gt;FYI: You don't actually need TurboTax 2024 installed to transfer your return into 2025. You only need to have your .tt24 file.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:transparent;color:#1d1c1d;font-size:10.5pt;"&gt;If&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;umid&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;file exists then open a file&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;"C:\ProgramData\Intuit Canada\tt2024\TTConfig.ini"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;and enter&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;UseCustomUMID=1&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;at the end of file&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:transparent;color:#1d1c1d;font-size:10.5pt;"&gt;Close and save&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;TTConfig.ini&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
