Thanks for the quick reply. Staples advises they've received complaints from customers that it won't work on windows 10 machines. The previous post and your answer would suggest otherwise.

I accidently posted this on US site, reposting again here as I am in Canada.

I didn't read all the conversation on this topic back from Oct 2025 and unfortunately bought the TT 2025, but later realized I can't upgrade to W11. Now I am stuck here paid $40/- for the software which I can't use it.

The question I have is, I tried to install the software on W10 machine which gives me a warning that I need W11 OS, but it also allow me to installed on W10 machine with a security warning & risk.

What is everyone's thought on this approach? should I move on to another tax software (and waste my $40/-) or continue to use it on my W10 machine? (I can't afford to buy a new W11 machine at this time)

TurboTax Tax Year 2025 is compatible with Windows 10; however, we recommend Windows 11. You can continue to use Windows 10 for Turbo Tax desktop.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Thanks. This is a big relief from the stress of moving to another tax software as I have been using the TT for last 20+ years

Will turbo tax 2025 standard version install and work on a windows 10 machine despite the windows 11 recommendation or do I need to get the on-line version that will work from any browser? Both are the same price. My preference is the former.
