      <title>I re-installed 2024 on a new desktop but it will not fully launch</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The original (2024) download was for Windows 10 and was ported to the new Windows 11 laptop. The download&amp;nbsp; was self extracted and installed. The prompt to lauch was deployed and immediately the subsequent prompt to apply udates was issued and deployed. The prompt (from Windows) to accept system updates was honoured but there was no further progress was seen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There was never a prompt to enter the product/install key which I have available&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Happy to report that I was able to uninstall the non-functioning 2024 version. I was careful to also remove the default folder(s) where it was installed. I then completed the&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;install without lauching the program. I lauched the program (as administrator) and accepted to prompt to have the updates applied. The updates were successfully downloaded and applied. I satisfied the prompts for the product key and now have Turbo Tax 2024 fully functional.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A happy customer but wonder if maybe my the circumstance I encounterd may have been the result of the required updates from Intuit were archived and I was not patient enough to have them from the archives.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
