Since this is your first time filing in Quebec, you cannot submit electronically because Revenu Québec requires a previous Notice of Assessment (NOA) number to verify your identity. Because you have no prior filing history, the software cannot bypass this security check.

You must print and mail your Quebec return (Form TP-1) to Revenu Québec this year. Once they process it, you will receive a provincial NOA, which will allow you to file online next season. Your federal return is unaffected, as the CRA and Revenu Québec use completely separate systems.

This is my first yr for filing a Revenue Quebec Tax return .... the system processed my Rev Canada Federal return fine but when I try to submit my Quebec return it won't allow me to do it online as the program is asking for my 2023 and 24 Quebec NOA numbers which obviously do not exist.

How do I get around this issue so I can avoid manually filing this return?

I
