      <description>&lt;P&gt;What exactly happens when you try to run TurboTax Desktop? Have you made sure that there is no security software blocking TurboTax from running? Did you try completely uninstalling and reinstalling?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The window shield on the app icon means tat the program will need to run with administrator privileges. It should ask you for the admin password when you open it, or you can right click on it and select Run as administrator.&lt;/P&gt;
