As a canadian...if I am called to testify as a witness in an american court can I deduct my expenses on my tax return?

I have to attend court in the US as a witness. I want to know if I can claim flight expenses, and living expenses on my tax return.

Unless you are declaring income related to your court appearance, such as an "Expert Witness", your expenses would not be tax deductible but would be considered only as personal expenses.
