Can I apply unused farm losses even if business was closed 2 yrs ago?

Notice of assessment states I have "unused restricted farm losses from other years" I can "apply to other years to the net farming income I report".

Farm business was closed 2 yrs ago, husband (co-owner) and I are now divorced. Can I still claim this?

Restricted farm losses can only be claimed against farm income. If you do not have and will not have farm losses in the near future the losses will just expire. These losses can only be carried forward 10 years and then they will expire.
