Can I claim any expense while working in different country?

I am a permanent resident of Canada and own a business in British Columbia. I spent a few months in the country where I am originally from. Can I claim any expenses from that country on my Canadian taxes?

When you speak of expenses from your original country, can you clarify what kind of expenses you are speaking of?
