Can i file the first return for my incorporated business online or do i need to do paper filing ?

First year corporation filers can electronically file their corporation tax return. The Canada Revenue Agency encourages electronic filing of the T2.

Can you also confirm if the first personal tax return has to be a paper return or can it be filed electronically ? I am a new immigrant and this will be my first return.

There is not an exclusion the first year a T1 general tax return is filed. First year filers can usually file their tax return electronically. Although the Canada Revenue Agency does have net file exclusions, first year filing is not one of them.
