Can i move before my wife and claim both moves?

Here's the deal. We are living in Alberta and I took a job in Nova Scotia so me and my wife are driving there and I'll start work and look for a house etc. Then she will fly back to Alberta and sell the house finish up her work and head to Nova Scotia. Because there is 2 different time frames can we claim my trip and hers? Can we still claim the real estate costs because it will be after the first move?

Yes, you are able to claim both moves.  It's important to enter both moving dates on the T1-M form.  You may also want to contact TurboTax Live and Assist using the following link, https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/navigating-turbotax/help/i-m-using-turbotax-live-assist-review-how-do-i-talk-to-a-tax-expert/00/873764.
