If you have a T2200 allowing deducting of employment expenses, instead of adding up all car expenses and taking a %, can you use a per km rate? ie. 58 cents per km?

There is no simplified method for the T777. The per
KM rates are only if you are an employer and you wish to give an allowance to
your employees. On the T777 you must use your actual expenses paid, backed with
receipts.
